What kinds of makeup work best with each blendSMART brush heads?

Included in our starter set, our foundation brush is designed for liquid or pressed powder foundation. It is also a great touch-up brush after you have applied all of your makeup.

Our powder brush works best with your favorite pressed or loose setting powder.

Our blush brush is great for any crème or powder blush color or any bronzer color.
PRO TIP: The blush brush is also perfect for applying mineral powder makeup.

Why a blendSMART and blendSMART2?

True innovation is always evolving and rotating technology is no exception. When we launched the blendSMART2 with the magnetic heads and soft touch on/off, too many of our original blendSMART beauties didn’t want to make the change. So, rather than make that handle obsolete we kept both collections.  The original blendSMART is sold at and Amazon. Both designs offer a simple solution to flawless coverage.

How do I know that the brush head is correctly in place?

How is the brush’s antimicrobial treatment applied?

Our brushes are synthetic, so are less likely to breed bacteria to the same extent as natural fibers do. While many brush manufactures spray the antibacterial treatment on the fibers, which after time wears off, we actually add the treatment into the resin beads that is then melted down and the fibers are then extruded from the hot resin. This means the antimicrobial treatment is embedded into the fibers themselves. We use high quality synthetic fibers which by nature don’t harbor bacteria and then to make sure we add an antimicrobial treatment during the manufacturing of the fibers.

What type battery does the blendSMART handle use and where can I buy replacements?

One (1) CR123A lithium non-rechargeable battery is included with your Starter Set. You can find this battery at any drug store, grocery store or big box retailer.

How long will the battery last, and when should I replace it?

Battery life depends on how often you use your brush and for how long each time. On average, you can expect the battery to last about 6-8  months. It is time to replace your battery when the brush head rotation slows down dramatically, and you are not getting your usual great blending. Make sure that you place the battery into the cavity +positive first. Something blendSMART will operate with the battery upside down, but it puts more stress on the motor and can shorten it’s life span.

Cleaning & Care

Never let your motorized handle get wet or damp under any circumstances.  To clean your brush head, first make sure the on/off switch is off. Remove your brush head from the handle by pulling up on the base, just below the brush hair.  Do not pull on the brush hair.  Wash your brush hair with mild soap and rinse with warm water. Do not immerse in water.  Lay your brush head on its side to dry.  Never let the brush head dry upright.  Allow your brush head to dry completely before attaching it to your handle.  Recommended cleaning 1x per week and replacement after 6 months to 1 year, depending on personal use and care.

It’s so easy! If you have questions about the status of your order, make sure you sign in to your account under Login or My Account and you can view your order status, view past orders, make changes to your account information, change your password, and store alternate addresses (for shipping to friends and family!).

What if my order has not been received, is missing items or is damaged?

What is the sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to Texas addresses only.

What if a product I want is out-of-stock, discontinued or is a limited-edition item?

If some of the items are available, we will go ahead and ship those items until the other items you ordered come back in stock. If it is a discontinued or limited-edition item, unfortunately, it’s a first come, first served policy. We will communicate with you via email if we are out of stock.


How long will it take to ship?

We offer FedEx Standard Ground Shipping, UPS and USPS. If your order is more than $55 your shipping is free within the continental United States. Orders must be placed by 2 pm CST to start processing on the same day. Processing time usually takes 1-3 business day. Delivery times are based on orders placed Monday – Friday.

Only products purchased on can be returned to us for a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returned items purchased from any other retailer. Check with those retailers for their return policies.

For returns covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee or warranties, follow these instructions:

  • Email us for a Return Authorization Number (RA)
  • Any returns must be shipped within 30 days of your purchase
  • Any returns must include its original packaging and Return Authorization Number
  • Any returns must be shipped in a well-padded box to prevent damage

How do I get a sample?

At this time, we do not have a system for sampling. You have a 30-day customer guarantee and we’re sure you will be satisfied. However, if not you have a return sticker with your invoice you received in your shipping box. Please use this to return your brush(s) for credit with no shipping costs to you.
